My Photo Inventory was created as a way to provide a safe and secure environment that people could save descriptions and photos for anything of value. Whether it is for insurance purposes or simply to track your own DVD's, our business was created to help you.
In 1998 John Bates the Founder & CEO of My Photo Inventory was the Operations Manager for a Moving, General Storage and Document Storage company. What he quickly realized was that most people did not have an inventory of what they had, nor the condition of it. The idea to create an online inventory site for people’s home, business and storage items was soon established.
Subscribing to the philosophy, “If we don’t look after the customer, somebody else will” John set about creating a company that provides a solution to this increasingly common problem - not knowing what you have and where you have it.
To understand the benefits such a website could offer the insurance industry, Alan Mason the former Executive Director of the Insurance Council of Australia joined My Photo Inventory as a business partner to provide his expertise.
By developing a website that is clear, concise, secure and simple to use, My Photo Inventory aims to take the worry out of your insurance issues.
Making sure details of your belongings remain for your eyes only is a fundamental part of My Photo Inventory. As part of the site’s internet security structure, a significant investment has been made in the latest encryption, firewall, and server technologies to protect the information held on My Photo Inventory. In doing so My Photo Inventory delivers a safe, easy to use service that has the ability to save you money and heartache.
